Andorians Rock! T'Pol knows it, too. She doesn't seem to agree with how the Vulcans have handled their past Andorian conflicts, She tries to find logical in illogical situations, poor gal. Poor gal also, because Andorain commandoes request your presence in a war zone and you don't take Reed! wtf? T'Pol is stuck with Archer, hoping he's read the 1,200 pages of Vulcan and Andorian history! Ha! Polly wants to make sure Archer is prepared, then he can disprove Soval's negative opinion about Enterprise. Why would T'Pol be choosing Archer over Soval? And I mean that seriously, too. And I love away jackets! We'll not mention that T'Pol and Archer are unarmed!
Reed and Shran so need to get together. Actually I'd take Reed, T'Pol and Shran as my Big Three! T'Pol seems scared of the Andorian Chick. I would be, too. Archer says he is there for diplomacy, so I guess we have our answer as to why he didn't take Reed. T'Pol can't take anymore and goes off on Kaylar, saying all this violence is the Andorians fault. I don't think T'Pol thinks the Vulcans are correct, but the Andorians are also illogical. You just can't win! Polly frowns at the report of more Andorian ships. I truelly think she knows war is illogical, not a career move as Soval seems to think. Soval wants to get rough, but T'Pol is against that. I love the way Polly has to explain 'the ball is in your court.'!

Alrightly now. You are taking the top Vulcan Ambassador into a hostile envirnment and you don't bring Reed? That is just stupid. Why is it that Trip get's the 'Malcolm parts'? It's Trip who is concerned about Archer and T'Pol, where as before Reed was Mr. Careful. (Also in First Flight, Trip is the one who sets up charges for the mission. Hello?!) It's a shame. I'd love to see Dk and Suzie Plakson onscreen together. After all, he likes them tall. ;0)
Soval is such a Vulcan dork. He wants time to meditate and even T'Pol rolls her eyes. Jinx! Shuttlepod One crashes, again. T'Pol is suprised that Soval knows more than he is telling. I think she had respect for him, but finding out he was an Intelligence combat officer changes things. Polly sides with Archer over Soval, which I actually liked! However, T'Pol couldn't identify the weapons fired? For shame!
Ah yes! The first Reedygoodness of the hour! Malcolm sits and listens while the Vulcans chit chat with Trip. Reed and Trip in command so rock, almost as much as Reed and T'Pol. But back to T'Pol. Archer jokes about their ears again. Soval exclaims, 'What is their fixation with our ears?!' T'Pol deadpans, 'I think they are envious.' T'Pol admits she has, let's not say lost respect for the Soval and The High Command, but she has gained respect for Archer. Soval rips T'Pol, saying she could have had the tops in her career, but T'Pol says she finds working on Enterprise 'gratifying'. Oh yeah! Soval says she has slid into 'human indulgences' Oh yeah! Jerkvol also says Polly is arrogant, not compared to him she isn't! T'Pol gets in Soval's face, 'Just because Captain Archer has my respect that doesn't mean I've been contaminated by his emotions.' You tell him!

Meanwhile, Trip is stuck wheeling and dealing in orbit. He orders Malcolm to go to Tactical Alert. Malcolm smiles just enough when the lights go red and the klaxon comes on. They he acts are stern and tense again. Reedy doesn't want to get Enterprise into war. Does he know all about war firsthand? It's not just shooting back, after all.
Naturally, Archer didn't bring an extra phase pistol with him, dork. Soval looks at the weapon, for he hasn't fired one in 50 years! Can you imagine Reed's reaction?! Reedy doesn't try and hide his opinion from Trip. The Vulcans and Andorians both charge weapons, and Trip orders Enterprise between the stalemated alien ships. 'If you don't mind me asking, what do you have in mind?' Reedy certainly isn't going to risk Enterprise or himself for these ugly aliens. T'Pol and Tarah he would gladly get inbetween. >80)
Andorian chick calls Shran a coward! <gasp!> Imagine how cool that fight scene woudl have been had it been Reed and Tarah? Oh yeah! Dinky little Enterprise, meanwhile is stuck between the alien ships, and she doesn't look like much. Trip rolls his eyes at the dueling viewscreen. I guess he should have checked his plan with Reedy after all. Trip is cool Captain this episode, and vows to shoot who ever tries to get to the planet. He calls on Malcolm. Hello. Top ten Malcolm moment right there. Just the way he says 'Locked and Ready.' <thud>

And you know? How often is that all Malcolm does? He can do so much more! Although just smiling then shooting is cool though. Wheeling and dealing T'Pol is cool too. She gets Shran to second guess Suzie Andor. The ships upstairs separate, and Malcolm is itching his trigger finger. 'Hold off, Malcolm!' Trip orders >80) Reedy licks his lips and cancels the Reed Alert. I'd love to see a follow up episode to this, just with more Reed. 80)
T'Pol doesn't like to drink, but she does so for diplomacy! Remember how Reed doesn't drink on duty, but he did when Archer ordered him in Silent Enemy? ;0) Polly just wants to get back to Malcolm. She gladly escorts Soval away, and raises her brow in surprise at him. Soval turns to Archer, 'Your presence here hasn't been overly meddlesome.' Ha!
