Well we're going to ignore the fact that there is never any security present when aliens come aboard! T'Pol compliments Trip on his repair work, but I wonder if she means it a little sarcastically, since T'Pol has previously ripped Trip for his female alien 'repair' encounters. T'Pol looks annoyed. The alien askes for a bath, so Archer tells him T'Pol will show him around. And I thought Humans smelled!

During dinner, the alien's thing beeps, warning him about the status pod. T'Pol is very skeptical now! There is no answer from Trip, so who's Archer going to call?! Reed! Malcolm intercepts the dude so cooly. 'Mr Phlinn?' You think, Malcolm? 'Lieutenant Reed. The Captain asked me to escort you back to your ship.' The soon to be baddie declines, but Reed presses 'I'm afraid I'm under orders.' Yeah right, if something has happened to Trip, Malcolm so wants these guys. 'It's just a precaution.' He is so good!
But what's this?! Baddie number one fires at Malcolm! Boy he got out his phase pistol fast. Malcolm ducks and returns fire. He holds onto the railing and hangs out to fire and it looks really cool. Reed walk! And you know, even the security dude with him does the Reed walk. Malcolm misses?! I guess he had to miss the guy, for Trip-n-Chick plot purposes, you know. ;0)

The baddie escapes, and Archer rushes to the hatch, with T'Pol in tow naturally. Now, how do Archer, T'Pol, and Reed all fit in that tiny turbolift? Polly and The Reedygoodness don't mind. Actually you can't even seen Malcolm behind T'Pol until he walks towards Tactical. Archer orders phase cannons, and Reedy clicks away. He nods to Archer, like duh. We don't see Reed's shot, but he reports a direct hit to the enemy nacelle. And he does so with such a grin, too.
T'Pol explains how they've been had with the cloudy vapor stuff, and the bad ship zooms away. Archer tells Reed he thought the ship was disabled. 'So did I!' Malcolm snickers in disbelief that he was tactically outsmarted. Reedy then frowns, for the cloudy crap needs to be cleaned out of the impulse manifolds. I guess without Trip around that job belongs to Malcolm. Ew.

Archer and T'Pol question the baddie the other baddie left behind. Try and stay with me here, folks. Polly is very snooty to him. She even rolls her eyes to Archer, signaling him that this guy is so lying. I swear T'Pol gives the stupid baddie The Reed Glare. Speaking of which...interogatting a hostile onboard, shouldn't that job belong to Malcolm?
Ah, yes. Reedy and his back up dude enter the Torture chamber, or the mess hall with the lights off. 'The prisoner, sir, as ordered.' Reed's voice is so scary there! Malcolm stands straight and Archer thanks him. I like how Malcolm is kind of in the dark and with his back to us, but we hear his best interogation voice. 'Will there be anything else, Captain?' Reedy sounds like he has plenty more he can do to this guy to get information. 'Not right now, Lieutenant.' What? Wait a minute! Malcolm is leaving? The shot changes to outside the door, Malcolm steps out and gives Archer the glare. Okay, not having Malcolm participate in the interogation is just stupid. Instead Archer props up T'Pol as being an evil Vulcan judge. She was assigned for her inability to be swayed by emotion. Okay, but isn't emotion good when interogatting someone? Archer lays it on thick. 'You should be prepared. Her punishments can be...severe.' hehe.

Judge T'Pol, apparently, will really get you if you're late for you shift, dereliction of duty, or conduct unbecoming. Okay, I bet the lower decks all think of Malcolm as Judge, jury, and executioner, but T'Pol enters decked out so cooly in Vulcan robes. Polly is really enjoying all this too much. She has really gotten into the 'play acting' aspect, hasn't she? I just had a bad thought. Anyway.
T'Pol demands to know the baddie's height and weight. 'Does your culture observe any post mortem rituals?' hehe. T'Pol just said What do you want on your tombstone?! Archer play good cop now, and actually I can see why it wouldn't work with Reed. Between Reed and T'Pol, who is the good cop and who is the bad cop? Wouldn't I like to know! But you know what? It works.

Naturally, anyone who loves Tripness will like this episode! Enterprise tracks him and chick down. Archer and T'Pol both walk with scanners, but Reedy trails behind them with a phase pistol, Reed walk as always. They catch Trip, um, indesposed. Polly just blinks and Reedy cracks up behind her. I recommend the episode just for the look on his face at the end. Well, if you have fast forward. 80)
