Phase Pistols & Pointed Ears:
Shadows of P'Jem

So,  not a lot of Polly and The Reedygoodness together, but we learn a lot about our love birds individually.  This episode begins with T'Pol getting in trouble for what happened in The Andorian Incident.  She broke the rules for the good of everyone-is that Reed of her?  They are both so bad at heart!  T'Pol however, askes Archer if they got the relics out of the P'Jem santuary.  She likes history, too?  Hook these people up immediately!  T'Pol insists she is unaffected by the Vulcans telling her to leave.  She says it was unrealistic to think she would remain with humans forever.  Her hopes and dreams seem so shattered, quick go make out with Malcolm before its too late!
Did T'Pol say 'Was there anything else?' ? Where does Reed say that? I must know....  T'Pol also says Pride is a human indulgence.  What does that mean?  I'd like to know what was on the padd T'Pol was reading in the Mess Hall.  Yes I said T'Pol, not Reed.  Try not to get confused.  I know the similarities are uncanny!   T'Pol has served on a human starship longer than any other Vulcan. And why did she stay all this time I wonder? 80)

It's a shame we didn't get to see which crewmembers were supposedly throwing T'Pol a going away party.  That's sounds like something Travis would do.  He spoke this episode, just so you know ;0)
No party, just bondage with Archer.  T'Pol says its too late to turn back, for it would waste fuel.  Should I just italize all the things T'Pol does that are so Reed of her? Polly's Reed-casism is ever present now.  When the pod is fired on, was it really logical for T'Pol to say 'I don't think they're an escort.'  Logical is illogical when Malcolm's sublte wit is on your mind!  T'Pol even lies!
Meanwhile, Malcolm is having no problem telling off the Cordians. 'Almost certainly?!  Is this how you protect your visitors?!'  He is pissed and he knows Trip doesn't care.   Malcolm is a better Acting Captain anyway.   I love when Reed shifts his weight when he gets ansy!  I guess Archer/T'Pol shippers like this episode, since they get all tied up together and all <rolls eyes> When T'Pol says they only moved a few centimeters, Archer says T'Pol must be frustrated.  He also has to be so mean about the Repression thing.  It wasn't frustration, T'Pol was just being accurate.  Can you imagine what would have happened had T'Pol and Reed been tied up together?! >80)

T'Pol tells Archer living with humans has compromised her reasoning.  Hehe.  Which makes me wonder which of the guys has compromised her the most?  I think Trip actually.  He's touched her the mos at least.  Malcolm, however, is certain that the signature he found is the pod.  He tells Trip he's already got a rescue team standing by, for he just wants to go have a look around. Sure, Reed, sure.  Talk about tension, Malcolm crosses his arms 3 separate times this ep!
The Kidnappers comm Enterprise, and refer to the Captain as 'she'.  Reed is standing in the background, but he is clearly esctatic at this thought.  So esctatic that he actually considers giving the ransom of his 15 phase pistols! Then he realizes there is no guarantee the Cordian rebels will release T'Pol, and Reed grows angry at the thought of losing T'Pol and his phase pistols.  Oh, and Archer, too.  Not to mention now, that these pesky Vulcans show up.  Malcolm has never seemed to have a problem with Vulcans, except this one time.  Maybe it is because these evil Vulcans have come to take T'Pol away!
Trip tries to talk to the Vulcans, but Mal gets scary and sees through their plan.  'Sounds like you're planning an assault' might be wishful thinking, too, but we'll see. Scary Reed is more scary than Scary Trip, and Trip is a bad liar.  Malcolm even tries diplomacy, inquiring about the Cordian government's standing.  Trip finally unleases Reed, and the Rescue Zoolander Reed look he gives is just hysterical!

T'Pol meanwhile, is actually rolling her eyes at the way Archer eats like a neanderthal.  Malcolm would heave at the site of that slop.  Hoshi, actually  does something this episode to, but it's only 'Can I take a message?' Literally.  Away jackets are so hot.  Malcolm has his scanner out, but not his phase pistol??   Naturally, Trip and Reed get captured, but Trip is down and bagged while Malcolm is still fighting in the back.  Look closely, if you can see since it's so damn dark!
Malcolm hangs his head in anger and defeat, for he fell for a deliberately left signal.  Shran says a lot of stuff and Trip has no clue, but Reed clarifies that the Andorians and Cordian rebels both hate the Vulcans.  Malcolm instanty analyzes the Andorian maps of the prison ans asks how many guards.  Trip catches on and they join the rescue!

Just Tell me where the bad guys are Malcolm to T'Pol's rescue! Oh, and Archer's too. Trip contacts Archer saying 'It's me and Malcolm, sir.' Archer answers, 'Just the two of you?'  Is anybody else complaining at the thought of  just Trip and Malcolm to the rescue? I didn't think so.  Reed rushes in, pistol in hand.  He briefly stops by Trip and looks at him like 'Draw!'  It's the funnniest thing, but it quickly gets topped by The Reed Walk! I love that scene where we see Reed smiling in the darkness <sigh>
He said 'Hell'! and not only did he say 'Hell!' but he said 'Our escape plan is shot to Hell!'  Pyromaniac at heart!  I think Reed is supposed to be firing at the Cordian rebels, but he doesn't hit anything. I think he was just enjoying the ability to fire at will.  The Vulcans and Andorians cross paths, and then Malcolm really doesn't know who to shoot at.  He stands inbetween them  in his Reedy Stealth Mode.  Poor boy was so excited by the thought of T'Pol tied up that he couldn't prevent her from getting shot, but he was ready to shoot the guy after, really.  Now we know why Malcolm loves T'Pol so much.  She is such a hero!  Malcolm looked very traumitized at T'Pol laying there, wounded.  I think he was afraid to touch her for he might  cop a feel, so Archer picks her up.  Malcolm quickly leads the way to the BatPodMobile.

Archer speech at the end! Trivia Time! The following describes Reed or T'Pol?  Pain in the ass, Stubborn Arrogant.  Are you convinced yet?  I know some people who want to put Reed out an airlock, and probably me, too!
